UEFA donated 200 thousand euros to earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.


UEFA donated EUR150, 000 to the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), while the UEFA Children`s Fund sent EUR50, 000 to non-governmental organizations Bonyan and Tiafi working on relief efforts in southern Turkey and Syria.


UEFA is making this initial donation to help support the immediate humanitarian response to this terrible tragedy. "I also want to thank our associations for their quick response and support provided to those affected by this terrible event, " said UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin.


UEFA is also exploring the possibility of organizing additional fundraising events during the final week of the 2022/23 Champions League, which takes place in Istanbul in June. Details will be announced in the coming weeks.
